Race's 5th Birthday

Race turned 5 last week. It was a double good day because it rained a full 1/2 inch. The drag was it caused an abrupt change of plans from a park birthday party (with 40 planned guests) to a house party...


..but we were 1) Happy to have all our friends at the house and 2) psyched to have our 3rd rain for the year. We were now at 2.5inches rain for 2011.

Claire and Race played in a trash can used to catch rainwater from the roof. Race got a long awaited Darth Vader costume..The dog got to wear the mask as well. Labradors aren't good with light sabres.

It was great having all our friends over!!

I am still eating hot dogs as leftovers. They will all eventually be eaten..
