Claire's hoofed friend Flicka on the beach
Last week I finally made good on a 2 month promise to take Claire on a horse ri
de on the beach. Claire named the horse "
Flicka". Early in the ride she was unsure about all the bouncing but by the end of the ride (seen in her standing by the horse after dismounting) she was all smiles.
Now to make the promise good for Gwen.

The horse thing suits Claire! I can totally see her working at the stables as a teen, yelling "gityup" and coming home with hay and what-not in her hair!
