2010 so far

Sunday we took the kids to the aquarium. It is funner now that they're older. No strollers or riding my neck or diapers. Race and Claire's hair stuck up after sliding.

This freakshow of a bird is a spoonbill. It's mongo pink under the wings and we often see them near the road in the early morning or if you shine your headlights at night into the water they're running around in the shallows hunting small fish.

and the hummingbird shot is from last fall. A pic a few seconds before that one made him look like a boring dark bird. It's all about sunlight hitting plumage. Isn't that just like people.. :)? Thank God that God's just like sunlight...He's not about plumage...just light.
