little Rain in 10 months

Here's the rain report for the 10 months of 2009 so far..
I thought 2008 brought very little rainfall when I measured a little over 12 inches cumulative.

So far this year we've had a total of 5.25 inches. 4 inches of that occured in the past month.

If anyone reads this they probably won't care. Just know that if your local weather guy says you're in drought, we've got you beat.

I used to be jealous of Houston's rain...well I still am since they get to have trees there...but the conditions that give them summer rains and less wind also make them more hurricane prone.
