Friends and family

Sunny, I, and the girls went on a beachwalk 3 days ago before I had to go to work. The waves a JP Luby were really nice (Trop Storm Alberto's help) and I wished for the whole day off.



My parents came in today. We love having them here. They sat in on our church home group meeting and dad had some great things to say during discussions. Afterward, Claire fell asleep on "Pop"s shoulders.










My buddy Patrick and his wife Tanya visited us last night. We had sandwiches and coffee at the seawall until nightfall. The 9ft8in longboard has NO FIN and I found out just how crucial a fin is to stay straight on a wave. Standing was pretty easy on this big thing but soon as you're up the board went sideways and log-rolled you off. I got a fin today but then realized the 'finbox' is missing so I can't mount it until I get one. Claire loved standing on it though.
