From there to here...Happy 30th, Sunny!

There's been no blog lately because of a computer re-arranging recently. In that process I found some pics from 2001. These first ones are from Gwen's first months. Early on I taught her how to sleep and find ways to view the world on a broader scale... :)

It's wild to look back only 5yrs and see how much we've changed and now two kids. I suppose kids can age you just as fast as they say. I'm hoping lots of kids will keep me young.

We celebrated Sunny's 30th bday yesterday with lots of close friends coming to eat with us at Pier 99. They bought her a red velvet cake. I don't normally like cake but this was the best cake of my life and I'm still eating it the next day.

Gwen looks a LOT different today than she did in the above pics. She likes to goof a lot. Her best friend Jack never failed to "hook'em" when Daniel would say "Gig'em"!

THE cake, complete with hibiscus, palms, fish, and shells (click the pick).

A Birthday blessing for my sis-in-law: "May today, all of the sand stay on the outside of your house such that no sweeping is required. May all of those who wear diapers in the house miraculously not require ANY changing today! May the wind always be at your back on your exercise walk today. May all of your clothes fit exactly like you would have them fit, despite the fact that today you are allowing yourself to eat anything your heart desires. May your flowers bloom with unparalleled brilliance, even where you have not planted any. May your Janes wisk you away to a night of dining and dancing til you can't move another muscle. May the husband of your youth not burn down your house with his new Fresnel lens. And may new Baby Reed jump inside your tummy at the idea of having your as his/her mommy!" We love you, Sunny, and are soooo glad you were born! Have a great day!
