A heavy moment on the mall Carousel...
In my best alcoholics anonymous voice "It has been 8 days since my last blog." We had Austin friends down this weekend. Their 5y/o son Joshua was a big hit with Gwen and Claire who both took turns seeking his attentions. Gwen had her time during a mall carousel ride where she was able to HOLD him the whole ride. Part of that time, she held his hand too. He was keenly aware of the attention.
Look at the contrast between the pic early in the ride of all smiles and first hug, then the somber faces when hands were held and hearts felt the tug of the moment and the closeness.
Any guy who's ever had a motorcycle remembers the way it felt when he took a girl he had a crush on for a ride while she held onto him as he wound the bike thru the gears.

Claire AGGRESSIVELY harrassed him on the couch by putting her arms around him, staring at him, and trying to hold his hands. Note his reticence. To fully appreciate this, you gotta click on that pic to enlarge it bunches.

I was laughing out loud at this. Girls can be so forward at that age, well actually any age. My son Seth, even at 9, would still react the way Joshua did. So funny. Thanks for sharing.
ahem. i'm not showing this one to jack. entirely too upsetting.
So are you gonna bring in Guido "The Hatchet" to break this playa's arms, or am I gonna do it? :-)
