Forts and Friends

Last week Sunny and I went to Bob Hall pier while on a date and this cool wierd (but dead) fish was there. It gasped "hi.." right before it passed on. If you know what kind of fish this is, tell me. I need to contact his family.

My neighbor's garage is full of boxes from his recent move. He gave me several of 'em which I turned into a toddler shanty. It provides hours of playtime or punishment (should we decide to banish them there overnight without mosquito repellent). It is also a good secondary shelter in case we lose our mortgage or a hurricane destroys the brick house.

One of my best friends since childhood is here on vacation this weekend and stayed with us friday night. We played on the beach yesterday and despite the flat water, his son was able to ride the1ft waves that rolled in pretty good-especially for his first rides. I dug another pit/fort for the girls to play in. It's not as realiable for extreme weather as the cardboard shanty though.
