Hurricane Claire destroys North Padre Island

We had no idea this storm was on the radar. Friends and common knowledge forewarned us that kid #3 would bring
some turbulence to our routine patterns, but this event isn't a busybody dynamic, it's a behavior change frontal system. Newborn Race isn't hard, but the girls' transformation into competitors has made things challenging in ways we couldn't anticipate. Claire now fits the typical 2 year-old profile of getting into everything and seeing if it can be broken or used to deface anything we hope to maintain. The other day she got into Sunny's makeup for 1 minute while I'm around the corner and she gave herself a monobrow. I believe she knows this is her only time in this life to 'do it all now' and is on a mission to maximize entropy in our world.

2 weeks ago we formally dedicated Race to God so that we can be the best parents we can be for him. We did that in a field by our house. The girls didn't like the tall 'stickly' grass.

I was quite the lady on Halloween and my bro Daniel was so smitten he offered me a ring on one knee. You can see how touched I was. One of my favorite goof pics in years.

At a halloween/birthday party, Gwen took her first pony ride. She was so jazzed about getting to ride the white pony. "If you wanna ride, don't ride the white horse." Who did that song?(great video link).

Love Claire's unibrow! And the pic of you and Daniel is so heart-warming. Race is, like always, too cute!
