From Austin to the Gulf

Some good friends from Austin are with us this weekend. Today we paddled kayaks out a bit, dug another sand fort, skimmed, and ate. Claire was exhausted afterward and crashed promptly with snackplate in hand on her return and bath. After naps, we grilled at home and returned for a sunset walk down the seawall. Tomorrow a.m. we kayak to the first offshore rig, 2.5miles. Pray for calm conditions...and hungry, blind fish.
