Claire gets a haircut

Last week Claire got a haircut. She was first scared, then forlorn, then laughing. I figured getting a trim at home was fast and economical but I didn't realize until then that there's a definite bond and experience created when daddy cuts hair. The "collage" posted here somehow posts the same pic twice and I can't undo it, but you can enlarge a collage by clicking the image. It's pretty cool...like cutting your kids' hair. Excuse me..but a shrimp actually and literally jumped from the aquarium and landed on the couch just now. I have to go put him back for the eels to eat. I gotta remember to close that tank lid.

You really can't blame the shrimp from jumping out. He must sense his painful death is near. That is totally awesome you cut Claire's hair. I thought about Jän cutting our kid's hair but I remembered that he shakes pretty badly! He will have to find another bonding activity that doesn't involve scissors!!! I love the fort the girls built. Alisa was always having me do crazy stuff like that when I was little. I should have realized she was going to be a writer when she got older.

Wow these pics of Claire look just like Sunny when she was that age. I never noticed the resemblance till now. Through the hair in her face is little Sunny.
I love the girls fort. So fun.
Oh I'm jealous about not being there when you found the sea turtles. Thats like once in a lifetime to be able to hold a sea turtle. I bet Willie loved it. Love ya Kirby.
